Could you see Josh Hamilton winning the MVP?

Josh Hamitlon ended April with about 2 Home Runs. Now he has 15, good RBI total, and hitting over .300. Could you see him end up winning the MVP?

Scrappy is a fool. Josh Hamilton is on a first place team and he is batting 309 with 15hr and 46rbi. Hello? Yes he can win it. He will have to have numbers that lead all other candidates though. I think if it is too close, the MVP will go to Longoria or the others.

    Can he? Absolutely.

The shame is that because he was so stupid he lost all those years. He came up with Carl Crawford and Rays fans were imagining an outfield of Crawford, Baldelli, and Hamilton. There is a good chance that the Rays would have been better faster had not injuries and drug use limited two of those players...

Could I see it sure, but I really doubt it. To me the MVP has to either be having an incredible season or come from a team that is seen as a legitimate contender to win it all. I would say right now that Evan Longeria, Robinson Cano, Justin Morneau, and Miguel Cabrera have to looked at as the favorites due to the success of their respective teams and their outstanding statistics.

Source(s): Allen what are you talking about calling me a fool I said right at the beginning that I could see it happening but that I doubt it. Nice job quoting Hamilton's stats they are very impressive except you forgot to mention that all four of the guys I mentioned have a higher batting average and all but Morneau have more RBI. Also the Yanks, Rays, and Twins all have more wins than the Rangers, and the Tigers only have 2 fewer and Cabrera has more homeruns than Hamilton too. Also I dont care if the Rangers are in first in the worst division in baseball nobody sees them as a legit threat to win it all. Next time you quote stats or call someone a fool make sure you're making sense.

No way. Miggy wins it. Even if Hamilton wasn't injured, Cabrera should still win.

I think it goes to another player. He, or the Rangers, will probably not be much of a factor in the second half.
