Crank pulley wobble (chevy 350)?
have a '96 chevy pickup with a Vortech 350. Installed a rebuilt engine from a local engine shop about 3.5 years/15,000miles ago. Just noticed that the crank pulley is starting to wobble. Replaced the pulley and harmonic balancer. Still wobbles. Seems to run fine. It does have a knock that comes and goes. What do you think?

No the older ones have an interference in good shape and that they are pressed on. Yours would not have this and could no longer proceed to exist. looks such as you greater effective attempt to drill it out and placed a keensert in. that's well worth a attempt because of the fact the only different restoration is anew crank.

Did you replace parts with used or new damper and pully. I can't tell you have many warpped crank pulleys I have seen over the years. Same with dampers. Too many dumbasses likes to install dampers by hammering them on with a 2 lb hammer
The warpped steel pulleys are the reason I now will only use billet alum. ones on my engines
