Walt Disney created an empire and has done absolutely amazing things. I would imagine more people know about him then they do FDR. I mean not everyone liked FDR and many people disagreed with his policies. Just look at everything Walt Disney has done through his lifetime, the guy was amazing. I'd talk about his accomplishments and drive and really how he followed the American dream. Good luck

Artist, scientists, and inventors are remembered for the effect they had long after most rulers have been forgotten. That is because they make unique original contributions but for the most part one ruler could be replaced with another and it would make no real difference. That is FDR reacted to events, and to say he influenced history you would have to believe that another person who could have been elected president at that time would have acted in a way that was significantly different than Roosevelt.

Well, I'm speaking from the stupidity of my age group. Mid-20's. I know very little about President Truman, but I was raised on the Disney franchise. Little girls and boys emulate his characters to this day. What girl didn't imagine themselves as Cinderella growing up? It gave us unrealistic expectations, but expectations none the less.

Fdr set in motion the economic survival of America during the Great Depression and succeded, also he set set in motion the fall of tyranny in the world during world war 2, both of these and other great acts shaped what the world is today. Walt only made cartoons.
