Black Screen on Sony mavica MVC-FD91?
The screen on this camera is black. I have inserted a floppy. The lens cap is off. Flash works fine. I even took a couple pics and tried to upload on my computer but they come out black also. Any help is appreciated

Sorry, but it sounds like this veteran has given up the ghost. It may be time to replace it.

A ZIP disk is not the same as a floppy, and even if your were able to force one into the slot in your camera, the drive won't know what to do with it. A Sony W series will take much better pictures, is about 1/10th the size and weight, and you can store literally thousands of shots on a single memory card. If you are really fond of the Mavica's, look for the version that writes to 3.5" CD-R.
