What are good mods for a 1999 Mustang GT?
I have a near mint condition Mustang (pics below). I've been happy with the car and its treated me good, but its time for upgrades. Is it even worth upgrading? I don't really want to put any more then $5,000 into it. It does need a new exhaust so that will be my first upgrade if any. Everything at the moment is stock. What mods would be good and actually worth doing without throwing money away. I don't see any mods actually increasing its value but I plan on keeping it for myself and want to make it something fun to drive. Whats the best thing to start with?
It gets stored in winter and I never even drive it in the rian.

It depends if you are going for looks or performance.
For looks-
Get some black rims
Smoked Head lights and tail lights
Tint the windows black
Maybe a bodykit or carbon fiber parts if that's your thing
For Performance-
A supercharger is always fun!
Performance chip
Semi slick tires will have a huge impact on performance, just keep it out of the rain..
Upgrade the suspension
Here's a nice website to if your just going for looks, although it's for the newer 'Stangs it still gives you an idea of what you want.

Get it supercharged (probably around the 5 grand mark depending)! However, I'd just get another Mustang! I prefer the years 2005 and beyond (the newer body style is bad *** and gorgeous in my eyes)! Go for a 2014 1/2 when that comes out, it's an anniversary year and I am sure they will do something special for those! Go for Borla exhaust! Do you winter your 'Stang? I never understood someone who wants it as something fun and nice to drive as driving it year round, it will just ruin the car. Best to have it wintered in a garage and taken out ONLY on sunny, dry days (no rain or anything)!

If it were mine first thing id do it supercharge it, But dont go over bord just enough without haveing to upgrade the internals, put a peformance chip in it and have it profesionally tuned on a dyno,, Im not a big mustang fan but any thing supercharged is a blast to drive, plus the mustangs handle fairly well stock,
