These are 2 of my top favorite series. When I have my friends read them they can't put them down. I hope you enjoy them as much as my friends and I have! you can try classic books too!

The wheel of time by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson, is an amazing series will keep u entertained heaps I think 12 books have been published and there are 2 more yet to come. The eighth through twelfth books each reached number one on the New York Times Best Seller list. Its about a fantasy land with dragons and battles and other exciting things.

The Bartimaeus trilogy is another good fantasy by Jonathan Stroud. The book is about Nathanial a 12 year old boy who is a magician in training.

A good crime series that you can read is about an investigator Alex Cross by James Patterson. Cross is an African-American detective and psychologist who becomes a senior FBI investigator and solves crimes. Maximum ride is also another series written by him. The book is set in the near future and centers around the 'flock', a group of human-avian hybrids (98% human, 2% bird) on the run from the scientists who created them. It focuses on Maximum Ride (Max), the leader of the 'flock', and the first-person narrator of the story.

You probably have read this one but I'll mention it incase you havent its the the Inheritance trilogy, by Christopher Paolini that is about Eragon and his dragon Saphira.

I love the Harry Potter series and would recommend it... However, there are many great book series to read out there! Here is the ones that I know of (besides Harry Potter):

1. Warriors (a big series! I am a fan of those books.)

2 The Inkspell, Inkdeath books (my friend doesn't read alot or read big books but she said these are good!)

3. Gallagher Girls series

4. American Girls series

5. Seekers series

Jack Ryan series by Tom Clancy (first book is Patriot Games) Pendragon series by d.j. MacHale, Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, Maximum Ride, Robert Langdon series by Dan Brown. Not sure how old you are so I put series I like (I'm a 13 year old guy)
