How can i get better at guitar?

I used to have a bum *** guitar teacher who wasted my parents money and didn't teach me anything.
now i can barley sing and play guitar and i can only play youtube videos and tabs but he never taught the real basics like chords, scales etc.
I want to become famous one day so i can support my family.
so i just need some help.

just pick 'em from guitar tutorials on youtube.
and google some informations you need such as chords, scales, etc.
you record your vid, upload it to youtube, and ask for your friends or family to put some comments to fix your skills.
