Wife having head pains?
My wife has been having a pain in her head for about a week now. She did go see a doctor and she told her that it was probably a migraine. She did receive a shot and is taking medication for it. It is not an intense pain, but she does feel it constantly. Anyone know what might be causing this?

Your wife needs to see a neurologist, she needs evaluated for a proper diagnosis. That is somewhat disturbing to me that she is still in pain after injection and medication.Call for an appointment right away as it can sometimes take up to a month to get into a good one.Her regular doctor could save time & order a MRI to make sure nothing else is going on there. Also a eye doctor could check her out as well and sometimes help in the diagnosis..

I'm not a doctor, and with so little information, I do not not comfortable prescribing your wife's head pains. That being said, I've found a resource that you will certainly find useful.
Check out this Symptom Search tool. I typed in headache and it produced a bunch of potential causes. Maybe you could add to my "headache" search a couple of your wife's other symptoms to try and find the answer yourself! Here is the tool: http://www.healthline.com/symptomsearch?addterm=He...
Good luck. I hope this helps!
