i need help looking after a baby blackbird?

hi my neighbours cat brought it to me today the poor lil thing was still very much alive and chirpin sadly there were no parent birds around and unsure of where the nest is. i have brought it in my home and it is in a nice warm place. the blackbird id say is close to flyin the nest as it is fully feathered and quite big. i dont know what to do and really would like to see it pull through any help on what to feed it or anything please

    hi! well actually a few weeks ago i found a baby bird too, and all i did was put it in a cage and i feed it dough, bread crums and pleanty of water. At first it needed help but now it easts by itself...im just waiting for it to learn how to fly and im leting it go... hope it helps....

    If its fully feathered then just let it go somewhere safe, its a fledgling and is quite capable of fending for itself however helpless it looks. Usually they hop around under bushes until they feel more confident and can fly properly. the fact its parents are not around shouldn't be a problem. Although you feel you are doing the best thing by "keeping" it you are not.

    chopped up worms! use tweezers to feed the bird. meal worms . Keep it warm and dry. STAY AWAY FROM THE CAT.

    wild birds have alot od dieases and mites be careful thats all i can say
