what is a good organic spray for vegetable plants to ward off insects?

I tried a mixture of vinegar and water and the leaves turned white. Guess that wasn't a good idea.

Vinegar is a weed killer. Hope your plant bounces back.

Tell us what insects you're trying to repel, and we can probably help.

Remember, a good organic gardener knows the value of a vibrant, diversified ecosystem in their garden, which includes insects. I plant some plants to attract the beneficial insects to my garden. Avoid the mindset of "bugs are bad" and learn to treat specific problems, specific damaging bugs as they appear.
