Did Allah ever protect people from death?
(without taking them to heaven)
Rather than simply allowing Jesus a protection...he chooses to create a illusion where people were made to believe a lie. A deception Allah himself created to fool people into believing in the crucifixion of Christ.
Allah would also have been aware of the book of Isaiah written 800 years before Christ that prophesied the atonement.
Now this belief in the crucifixion of Christ was actually created by Allah himself and then he burns people in hell for believing in a lie he himself created?
We know this prophesy of Christ atonement was prophesied before the birth of Jesus because the book of Isaiah is found in he dead sea scrolls intact dated at 250 BC and Jesus quotes Isaiah 53 in Luke as a prophesy he must fulfill.
So Allah intentionally made people believe in the atonement of Christ and then threatens us with hell for believing his own lie.
Why is Allah deceiving people and then burning them in hell for believing him?

Christianity is based on the atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Allah claims we were made to believe a lie, it was Allah who made them believe in the crucifixion of Christ..(4:157)
Allah led his own people to believe a lie and left them with no truth for 600 years and an entire religion developed based on a deception of Allah and these he deceived will be burned in hell..for trusting God.
Couldn't Allah have protected Jesus without making people believe he was killed?
Allah was aware of the prophesies of the coming Messiah that would atone for sin.
These prophesies of Isaiah predate the birth of Christ by eight hundred years.
All knowing Allah intentionaly deceived people to believe in the atonement of Jesus Christ.
We know the earliest church fathers wrote of the atonement and resurrection of Christ and the Gospel taught the atonement of Christ.. so how is this a corruption of the Gospel?
The very word Gospel means good news and is the good news of the atonement and resurrection of Christ.
The Quran then says Christians should follow the Gospel.
Why would Allah create a lie and then tell people its a lie and also instruct people to follow a lie? Doesn't it seem Allah was not aware what was in the books of the prophets and the Gospel? Isn't it logical that because Muhamamd could not read he did not know what was in the scriptures?
If Allah deceived people and made them believe Jesus was crucified then why is he also telling Christians to follow the Gospel?
Sura 5:68 (Al-Maida) - "Say: 'People of the Book (Christians and Jews), you stand for nothing until you observe the Torah and the Gospel and that which is revealed to you from your Lord."
Be Good, You wish for me to bring forth proof that your Allah claims to be all knowing??? The book of Isaiah is in any Bible.
Be Good, I quoted your Quran telling us to follow the Torah and Gospel... why are you calling them corrupt? The Book of Isaiah is found in the DSS intact,250BC it teaches the coming Messiah who would atone for sin.
The Gospel text are much older then Muhammad and his Quran that tells us to follow them.. they all teach the atonement of Jesus Christ.
Calling the Bible corrupt does not answer these problem int he Quran... The Quran does not teach Allah would not keep his word... if it did you couldn't trust your God and your prophet could not be confirmed by God.
mota, interesting answer. It is indeed a Biblical teaching that sin equals death.
It is not however Quranic.
Even so there is only one man without sin in either the Bible or the Quran.
The reason Jesus came to the world is because sin equals death and it is through his righteousness and atonement and resurrection we can be joined to God which is eternal life.
kickthecan, absolutely even according to the Quran the spirit and revelation was to be tested by the word of God Q. 10:94 instructs Muhammad if he has doubts about this revelation he was to check with those who read the previous scriptures, proving Muhammad a false prophet even according to his own book.

A SIMPLER explanation is that Muhammad was deceived and the spirit who revieled the Quran was not Gabriel but a deceiver / an impostor. Did Muhammad test the spirit to see if the teaching he was receiving was from God and in agreement with the Torah and the Injil? Copies identical to the ones we have now were available to him. If he checked, he would have found the spirit's teaching to be FALSE. Was the spirit that pressed itself against Muhammad a jin playing a cruel joke against mankind?

For Christians to corrupt the Bible there would have to be a motive? What is the motive? Did St Peter like to be crucified upside down for witnessing the Truth? Did early Christians like to be fed to lions on account of the Truth? Where is the uncorrupted version of the Bible? Muslims believe that the Paraclete was Mohammed ;surely that must be corrupted too.They cannot have it both ways.Did the Jews also collaborate in corrupting the Bible as far as crucifying Christ was concerned.The Truth shall be revealed.As St Augustine said "it is a good thing that we still have the Jews otherwise people would make liars of us".

A Muslim says Allah does not deceive. The truth of the matter is that Allah does not exist. The true God is a God we can know through Jesus Christ. Since the Muslims reject the atonement of Christ, they are deceived. They deceive themselves. The deception is passed down from generation to generation.

There was a man who fought for the freedom of his motherland against the Britishers who were ruling India back in time. The people of India called him a "freedom fighter" and the British rulers ruling India declared him a "Terrorist" and later on executed him.

Edit: Previous scriptures have been corrupted by men in the history.
Quran is the latest and final version from your and mine God.

Why would it matter if people saw another man crucified or not.
Jesus never said he is going to die for peoples sins,he never said Im God.
The Bible was written by men,according to what they think Jesus preached.
Jesus is innocent of the lies written about him.
If anyone makes a lie against Allah,surely Allahs words always speak the truth,and in the end his words will only make sense.
Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say: 'This is from Allah,' to traffic with it for a miserable price! Woe to them for what their hands do write, and for the gain they make thereby.” (The Noble Qur'an, 2:77-79)
