Isn't Obama partly to blame for the oil spill not being cleaned up?
13 countries offered help within days of the spill and Obama said NO.
The Governor of Alabama wanted to block the oil from coming ashore, Obama said NO.
Several countries offered to provide oil skimming boats, Obama (and unions) said NO (Jones Law)
Obama should be made to pay (out of his own pocket) for his incompetence.

Oil companies drilling in the Gulf are not allowed to scratch their butts without the governments permission so whatever has NOT been done to stop this leak falls on Obama.

President Obama is no more to blame for the Gulf Oil spill than President GHW Bush was to blame for the Exxon Valdez oil spill in 1989.
President Bush never visited Alaska, did not address the nation, did not show anger, did not order federal resources or military personnel to the oil spill site, and interestingly the media did not constantly take polls to determine how Bush was "handling" the disaster. In other words, Bush was given a complete pass.
Why the double standard?
All this nonsense of President Obama refusing help is ridiculous.

they are no longer blaming him for the spill, they are blaming him for no longer allowing interior of reach communities to guard themselves. regulation is senseless. BP had an same protection measures utilized in oil rigs global. this may have exceeded off to any oil corporation everywhere. this actual rig had a sterling protection list and actual received a protection award very last 12 months and change into up for an same award again this 12 months. BP actual did not favor this to take position. they could lose billions. yet don't be trite by technique of claiming Bush ought to have stated "Oh nicely". it truly is horsesh*t. there's no "boot" to placed on BP's throat.BP is to blame for cleanup and damages to the quantity they are to blame less than regulation, and they comprehend it. Dems were given correct off of oil too, so do not imagine that is in simple terms the Repubs

Clearly you are repeating what you've heard without doing any research or knowledge on the subject. The administration left it to BP to do the clean up and stopping the oil gusher because the administration did not have the know how to do so, plus BP reported that not only they were able to stop the gusher but they tremendously under-reported the amount of oil flowing from the well. The administration couldn't have accepted the help offered to it because it was BP that was doing the clean up and gusher stopping. All they could do was transfer those offers to BP. There was one other issue, from a legal point of view the administration did not have the authority to take over from the git-go, that was due to the deregulation the industry went through during the Bush era.

Evidence says otherwise:
April 29: Napolitano declares spill "of national significance"; BP insists its "plan can handle this spill." On April 29, BP official Doug Suttles appeared on ABC's Good Morning America and stated, "At this point, I believe our plan can handle this spill, and that's what we're doing." That day, Napolitano declared the spill "of national significance," explaining that "we can now draw down assets from across the country, other coastal areas, by way of example; that we will have a centralized communications because the spill is now crossing different regions."
* EPA preparing for oil to hit shore. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson commented at an April 29 press briefing: "[A]s the oil does hit the shoreline, EPA will provide support to assess the impacts on the coastal shoreline and play a key role in implementing the cleanup. As a daughter of the Gulf Coast, I know that it is our job to ensure people that we will be eyes and ears working with the states who have valuable and vital resources to monitor air, water and land quality." Jackson also stated that the EPA has deployed air-monitoring aircraft "that is gathering information on the impact of the controlled burn on air quality, both in the area of the burn, and, of course, further away."
June 2:
NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Louisiana officials reached a major milestone midweek when the federal government approved construction of six sand berms to keep BP's oil spill from reaching precious coastal marshes.
June 15:
AMSTERDAM -(Dow Jones)- Dutch dredging company Royal Boskalis Westminster NV ( BOKA.AE) said Wednesday it will help to build sand berms to protect the Louisiana coast from the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Boskalis, the world's largest dredging company, said it has deployed a trailing suction hopper dredger as of Wednesday. The vessel, sailing under the U.S. flag, joins a fleet that will build sand barriers along the Louisiana coast to stop oil from flowing into the state's fragile and hard-to-clean marshes.
The project was awarded by the State of Louisiana after U.S. President Barack Obama gave his approval for the program, Boskalis said. The deal won't result in a significant financial gain, it added.

If is not repairable then how did they get the lease in the first place. I know this is too logical for those who want to blame someone, but really...who has ever tested and proven this technique? and why does the government who profits from the leases and the sale of the oil get a free pass on this. This is not a blame Obama rant. it is hold our government accountable in perpetuity statement, which just so happens to have happened now.

I think all of planet Earth should have gotten in their cars and boats and immediately gone to the Gulf to help.
If they didn't, then it must be Obama's fault.
You sound like a parrot.
GOP hate & fear strategy alive and well. Keep it up. You're just ticking off ore Independents and Blue Dogs for the fall elections.
