Does Motion X Drive GPS app for the iPad have to charge a monthly fee?

Or can you just pay for the app and use the GPS without the voice for free after the purchase?

    It isn't a monthly fee. Just pay for the app that's all.

    Friend has it on IPad, no monthly payment! ;)
