Why is my Comcast still working after cancellation?
Ok, Its probably been like 5 years, We had basic Comcast cable. But my mom canceled it. But we still have cable and we don't have to pay for it. I'm trying to talk my mom into getting the Comcast triple play, because I play a lot of online video games, and from what I see, Comcast has crazy internet speed. But my mom is scared that if they come and install the cable, they might realize that we have been getting free cable all this time, and give us a huge fee. Will this happen if we order it?

no. they'd be happy for the sale actually, believe me. plus they wont care bout the cable, the contractor was probably lazy and didnt want to disconnect yall, for all they know, your not active, and it would be against fcc policy to charge you. its not your fault they gave you free service when u said you didnt want it anymore.

it cost them more to send a "tech" out to disconnect the actual cable than what the basic service is worth..basically why pay an employee 40-50 bucks or more.. who knows ? then to worry about you watching 6 bucks worth of programming a month for free. tell your mom to relax there is no comcast c.s.i. investigation ..they dont care..they would rather you sign up for triple play and collect money from you.....cuz thats how i run my national mega corp..profit profit profit
