3 months old dog is vomiting and having diarrhea since last evening. Now it is very thin and hardly moves.?
The dog vomits every time when fed. I am in a remote place having access to a pharmacy but not a vet. Should I administer sodium chloride 9% (NS) ? If so, how much? What else is required?

To me, this sounds like Parvo. This is a very SERIOUS illness. Puppys are more prone to get this if they do not have the shot against it. It can be treated if caught quickly. However, the dog will need vet's attention. If not treated, your dog could die.

Do you have an access to any homoeopathic pharmacy and if you have belief in homoeopathic medicine then give him Arsenic album 30 and china 30 alternatively for 4 times at the interval of 15 minutes , dosage will be 3-4 drops dissolved in approximately 50 ml water . After giving these 4 doses rpt individual medicine 4 hourly alternatively.

This is probably because ur dog doesn't like its food. If u are not close to the vet then contact one, tell them about ur dog, and ask them what food the dog* should get. If the same brand of ur normal food has a type of food for sensitive dogs, use that.U should change its food. How?
Start by giving ur dog 4/5th of the food u usually give it, then put 1/5th the recommended food.
Gradually increase the amount of recommended food, and decrease the amount of normal food.
At first, ur dog might not eat the food, so u might want to feed it cooked rice with some chicken stalk on it. (That's what I fed to my dog, it was recommended by the shelter)
*I recommend Royal Canine Food. It has food for all breeds, sizes, and sensitive sizes.

You are not a vet, and have not been shown how to administer ANYTHING by a vet, so NO, you cannot administer sodium chloride . I don't care if you have to drive five hours to get to a vet. When you got a dog, you knew that you had no vet near by, and took that risk. Your pup likely has Parvo, and will die if you don't get him PROPER vet care.
Be responsible and get him to a vet NOW.

How cruel you are. The dog is suffering. Take the dog to a vet! You have a responsibility, no MATTER HOW FAR THE VET IS!

Your best bet is to get im to a vet ASAP a vet will likely know what he has as soon as he sees him. they have seen all kinds of things and can get him meds to make him better. The sooner you get him to a vet the better his chances of surviving are.

Why have you not taken him to the vets before now. I would suggest that you go immediately to the vets to save the life of this little chap.

Don't do anything until you talk to an expert. If you love your dog you will get to that vets no matter how far away it is and just make sure he is well looked after in the car on the way there (Water, food - optional - and toilet breaks especially)

sounds like it could be parvo. a very deadly virus puppies can get.. u need to take him to the vet right away, the longer u wait the worst its gonna get..since hes throwing up it will be hard to keep him hydrated..they will put ivs in him to keep him hydrated..
good luck

Unless you get him to a vet, he's a goner. Even if you give him SC. You need to treat the problem, not the symptoms and without knowing what the problem is, he's doomed.
