They have to rebuild around Rondo, so which ever is easiest, free agency or drafting.

well, when they made the trade before 08 I said they had a 3 year window and i was right so far. I think Ray Allen has passed the point where he can contribute as a quality everyday starter for a contending team. I think Garnett still can but only as a number 4 or 5 guy not a 1-3 So that leaves Pierce and Rondo who can be the top two to build for the future. We need a scoring center to be our number 3 guy and a big guard that can defend other big guards as a number 4 guy. Maybe get those through free agents or something but I think the Celtics will be out of it for the forseeable future which is why I was really hoping they would win this year. They need to get rid of Wallace. and R Allen.

I think the Celtics are done unless they rebuild.Either way,KG is past his prime and so is Allen.I say you let Allen go and and do something with KG,perhaps a trade.

Either way,if you look at it,if Allen and KG retire with the Celtics or they get traded,it's only a matter of time before they go through a losing season and then rebuild.
