Is At&t good and worth the money or is it bad like people say it is?

Okay, well I don't live in NY, I live in Mass. But, I have had AT&T for a while now and I personally have found that it is really bad. I have had so many problems with their phones and I harldy ever get service. But, my mom has the iphone and she has never had any problems with it that I am aware of. For the iphone you have to get the data plan so it's a good amount more every month.

For the mean time I would not go with AT&T. Their service is going down and they are losing 3g service as well. Apple has considered ending their contract, because everyone complains about the service. Right now the hottest phone out there is the HTC EVO 4G. Its amazingly fast and just amazing. My cousin just got it and even its regular 3g service is faster then average. It uses android, not windows so the customization and everything is better. I never really like the Touch Pro, but remember it is an old phone so you cant compare a Plasma with the first TV's right? If your looking for the best phone out there get the EVO or Verizon's HTC Droid Incredible. The Droid saga had begun to beat down the IPhone. Verizon has amazing 3g speeds and the best coverage. I have had about 3 HTC phones. The HTC Hero, HTC Droid Eris and HTC Droid Incredible. From any company, I totally would not trade an HTC for any other company.

I heard service sucks in NY, but im from Texas so i don't have any first hand experience. Yes the rates for the iPhone are much higher than regular phones since is is a smartphone. Every phone company has plans that cost just as much for their smart phones. Yes the iphone is more expensive than other phones since it requires you to pay for internet service, but this is the same for many phone companies and the internet rates are largely the same for any smartphone you buy.
