How do I sell some pdf files (ebooks) from my web page?
I now that I can upload them to sites and sell from there, but ideally I would want something that doesn't take people away from my site. Is there such a thing? Ideally, they would select the files they want that go to their shopping cart, then they pay (maybe with paypal). Is there anything that does this for free, or really cheap?

Its seems that what you're looking for is an online store right ?
have you looked at http://checkout.google.com/seller/integrate.html ?
PayPal has a similar solution I believe. But I tend to trust Google more on the ease of us for API and widgets.
