Happy Father's Day to all the Priest out there in the world

They do, but a few years ago my dad told me and Chloe that he hated Fathers Day as it was a "commercial thing started in the 1960s by a card manufacturer whereas Mothers Day is a old festival that has been around for hundreds of years". So we don't bother.

We always remember our dad. On his birthday, on Father's Day, on Memorial Day, on Veteran's Day, and the day he left us. Dad passed away a few years ago from complications due to Agent Orange. Strange but never any symptoms until suddenly some spots on his back that spread all over his body. Within a month he died. He was with the 101st Airborne and his unit had the assignment to search & destroy anything the enemy might be able to use. Mainly to destroy the Ho Chi Mingh Trail that brought supplies in from the north. Agent Orange was used to kill the vegetation. Yesterday and today I will be in touch constantly with my family. Rest in Peace, dad, We love you.

My father passed away from cancer, so days like today are still hard. I couldn’t even bring myself to visit his grave this year...

... I feel so guilty, but there’s just too much pain.

Coming on here helps to take my mind off it, if only for a little bit.

yep, went on a picnic with my brother and brother in law, had a great time though i had a bit too much sun

Yes we are but surprisingly the afternoon was spent shopping in stores full of other mothers and their children. Thanks for the sperm dad, your child support is late and grossly inadequate.
