Are you good at accepting compliments?

i dont think anyone really is, unless your really conceited by yourself. dont confuse self confidence for conceited. its a hard line to walk.

if i know the compliment is genuine then i usually laugh it off, i really dont take well to compliments because i feel like i have to compliment them back....

it is a tragic mirrored photograph on many in society thatwe do not receive compliments or grievance or something nicely. there is a few thing in our collective low shallowness in society that wonders why is he/she complimenting me ? What does he/she decide for? what's in it for him /her? maximum people who do in comparison to themselves very lots do not receive compliments nicely. usually if it is a left surpassed compliment verging on an insult or a generic compliment I say thank you and flow on. I do compliment others truthfully as i don't learn myself to everybody , so i will compliment somebody out of a stable wholesome experience of self -esteem. i are not getting jealous or green with envy , by no potential quite did so telling somebody they supply the impact of being attractive or handosome and truthfully meaning it is not a project for me. I additionally can thankfully congratulate people whilst they get a sparkling pastime or a promoting or despite and quite advise it , no ought to be ingratiating.

Depends on what the compliment is. If it's about my cooking, something I accomplished, etc... I am happy and say "thank you."

If it's about ME, my looks, etc... usually, I am surprised and say "Are you serious?!" I guess I don't see myself the same way others do... I usually don't give my looks much thought.

Yes I am, I am usually like thank you, and I receive a lot of them, so it feels good to receive them :)

Nope, + it gets on every bodies nerves.

For example; if someone calls me pretty, I say 'SHUT UP,

you know I'm not!' I usually go home + cry, because I know I'm ugly.

It depends on what they say and who says it. I normally smile and say "thank you :^))" But in the back of my mind I feel like you are full of sh&t. I don't flirt and make ridiculous eye contact. Unless I think you're HOT!! :D

Absolutely. It's fairly simple IMO. How are you about giving compliments? If you can give one, you should be able to receive one.

i take them when i can. i don't always get a compliment especially the way i am. i live by two simple rules: don't have any regrets, don't take anything for granted.
