There are left handed golf clubs. A fair amount of golfers who play left handed aren't actually left handed. Phil Mickelson for one is right handed. Most golfers are right handed and those who start when they're young are mimicking whoever is teaching them, but as a kid, you want to see what the other person is doing, so you'll face them which would have you hitting left handed as opposed to having your back to the person who's showing you how to play.

I am right handed but my left-handed father taught me to swing a baseball bat left-handed. I hit a golf ball the same way. There are lots of good left-handed clubs available from all major manufacturers. You will find that the selection is much smaller than right handed equipment, but is no higher priced. If you wish you can be custom-fitted with golf clubs at many golf courses and pro shops. I learned to custom build and fit people 15 years ago-it is not new by any means! All pros play with customized clubs--you can too!!! Good luck with golf!

Go for it.If it feels all-natural and is fulfilling to your eye by all indicates use the still left handed clubs.Phil Mickelson is correct handed in each factor else he does nevertheless plays golfing still left handed and he has done fairly fantastic for himself. Notah Begay ,several years ago, would place still left hand breakers correct handed and correct hand breakers still left handed so he would generally have a attract bias put.I can't keep in mind who it was nevertheless 1 participant on the PGA tour played correct handed and putted still left handed. As you are able to see there tend to be no absolutes in golfing so what ever helps you get the ball in the gap in much less strokes and functions for you go for it.

Lol, yes i'm left handed and they make left handed clubs. Although finding a nice set is a pain because stores usually carry far fewer left handed clubs than they carry right handed clubs.

It's always the same crowd that answers with such impudence. If you can't say anything nice, helpful, appropriate, then move on, don't answer and be done with it. There are a lot of young kids, new people wanting to golf that are eager to learn the game and are asking for advice..remember there is no stupid question, JUST STUPID ANSWERS. Don't listen to them, listen to the ones that are helpful (Thumbs Up to all), perhaps one fine day they will all wake up and realize it's not all about them.

Instead of swinging to your left (right handed) you swing to your right (left handed). Yes, they have left handed clubs. It's basically the same as right-handed, it's just flipped over.

Yep. I'm a lefty, and I play the same clubs as righties, just flipped. There aren't many lefty clubs sold at stores, but we can still play.
