how big wil a 8mth old colt be if it is 12,3hh now when fully grown.?

i have a 8mth old colt he is 12.3 at the present how big do you think he will make if he is a cobby type.

    I heard an old method, though I never got to check it. But give it a try:

    Measure from the ground to his elbow. When he is full-grown, that should be the same as the measurement from his elbow to his withers. So you should be able to do the math and make a guess about his grown-up size.

    Somewhere between 14-15hh I'd say.

    My filly was hitting 13.2 at around 9 months and she should make 16hh, so I'm just working out my answer from that!

    My welsh cob was 11hh when he was 11 months, he'll finish around 12.2. So my guess would be 14-14.2hh. It's just an estimate though, it all depends on what you feed him, his health, his growth rate, and his parent's height. Hope I helped :P

    do you know how big his parents are? they are normally around their height.

    if i had to do a guess i would say around 15+hh
