Name one advantage & one disadvantage of each religion keeping in mind the contemporary world.?

Judaism: your chosen by God, but you miss out on bacon cheeseburgers.

Christianity: you get saved in the end but you get lost on the way there (most xtians I know don't have a clue what they're talking about)

Islam: lotta brotherhood, and too much brotherhood so you can't think for yourself.

Buddhism: balance and tolerance, but no one can be nice ALL the time, too stressful.

Satanism: lovely sense of self importance, but no one likes you.

Taoism: sense of beauty and place, toomuch sense of place! Mn need a little ego, y'know!

If it starts before the child has a mind of their own to be disobedient, then the child will go to the parents for their important decisions first, instead of being manipulated by bad peers. Overstrict parents that are abusive are another story altogether. In such a case the advice of friends may help some, or perhaps a teacher etc. Usually a child gravitates to one parent because the other is too strict. Being a parent is no piece of cake. I'm sure of that. If you're a girl and your parents are restricting how late you are going to be out, what are they afraid of? Drugs, sexual influence, being accosted, etc. Those type of parents know it only takes ONE time for something bad to happen and it can ruin your entire life. Nevertheless, children have to grow up. Communication with parents is important. Having good trust with them helps the child make better decisions. Don't be so strict that your child won't confide in you because of fear of being punished. Trust and respect have to go together.

The religion shows us good guidance for our life is the advantage. The dis-advantage are the people who argue about the belief.

Advantage: Moral laws and stadards, aka values

Disadvantage: Tolerating unbiblical judgement within the community

The main advantage in religion is the opportunity to be with like minded folks on Sundays. The main disadvantage to religion is that folks are willing, ready, and able to kill and die for their belief systems.

Believe me religion developed after man not vice versa

Believe in human not the religion its just a bound which we created

1: Great if you are the one in control of the flock you get tax-free income and no myth believing is required.

2: Not so good if you are one of the flock as you have to donate a fair sized proportion of your heavily taxed income for the privilege of being controlled by `1` above and the myth believing is a prerequisite.

One advantage- to promote peacefulness among people

One disadvantage- complete ignorance of any other people's thoughts/beliefs

Advantage: It gives a lot of people a reason to feel holier than thou.

Disadvantage: It gives a lot of other people something to be self-righteous about hating.
