Yamaha V-star 1100 won't turn over. Help?

With battery fully charged, my bike won't turn over. Sometimes it starts, runs for a few seconds, then dies. Is this a clogged fuel filter/line? Something I can do myself? Spark plug perhaps?

    There's a big difference between not turning over and not starting.Your bike turns over otherwise it wouldn't start.Chances are you need a full carb service.this is not a job for a novice mechanic.Take it to a shop and have it done properly

    My bike won t turn over when I push the start button & battery is fully charged it s a 2007 V star 1100 what should I check?

    Untreated gas gone bad and clogged the jets.

    Clean the carburetors - especially the pilot jets.
