No. The licensing exam is the same for commercial and residential realtors so the classes are the same. But none of the classes usually teach you about either side of the business anyway. You usually take some sort of training after you are licensed to actually learn about the business. The brokerage you work for will either teach you themselves or direct you to a source. Where I am from the majority of the Commercial Realtors take CCIM classes to gain expertise.

Though anyone above gave a few examples of church buildings that DID do it to elevate cash, so I wager it relied on what they used the money for.
