oh gosh people that would just be hilarious and they put teagarden on the ballot instead of saltalamcchia for some reason guys loosen up. he gus what the rangers are 43-28 15 games over
and teagarden got a complete one hit in a month and a half with the club

That's exactly what i was thinking. I'm gonna vote like crazy, that would be funny if he played in the all-star game even though he got like one hit in the majors.

...He's in AA for a reason. He isn't as good as other catchers, not even on the Rangers. That would be pointless... vote a minor leaguer into the allstar game?! What a joke.
And I want to give props to the person who mentioned that Jarrod Saltalamacchia is more deserving. Still not fully deserving, but Salty is really cool.

He was pathetic while he was playing for the Rangers. He wasn't even batting .200. He should be trade fodder for the Rangers. He hasn't proven anything on a pro level as a catcher. His arm is suspect, too. I can't believe he has over 400,000 votes!!! I'm a Rangers fan and voted for the right man: MAUER! As for Salty, he can't even throw the ball back to the pitcher on a consistent basis...

I think that you've confused All Star voting with the site....Vote For The Worst. You should be mature enough to vote in the players that deserve to represent their leagues. Someday Elvis Andrus might deserve to go to the game and I'm sure you would be disappointed if a AA or A minor leaguer got write-in votes instead of him. Think about that for a couple of minutes.

Teagarden was pretty damn good at times when he got moved up last year. I'm sure he would appreciate your mocking him. You forget he is a professional athlete and could play circles around you any day.
