What would cause Adobe Premiere to randomly stop playback while recording narration?
I'm trying to record commentary for a video and the program will arbitrarily stop playback and recording while I'm working. Does anyone have any idea why it would do this and how to prevent it?

Could be a memory issue. You can try to just do small narration sections. That's the way everyone else does it. Break up the video into sections to be narrated and recombine them after you are done.
