Why do 97% of the world's climatologists believe humans are causing global warming? Are they all liars?

It's kind of strange that just a few years ago scientists were warning us of a new ice age and now scientists are warning us of global warming.

It might be interesting to see who pays for all this "climate research". Usually "studies" show the results whoever sponsored them want the "studies" to show.

Just to throw it out there, how profitable would it be if the price of energy and associated taxes rose significantly and then we entered an ice age and people had to use more energy than they do now to stay warm? Why is the "solution" to global warming a giant transfer of wealth to governments and the upper classes through "cap and trade" and the "carbon futures market"? It kind of puts a dent in the credibility of the world's climatologists.

You do know this is a theory, right? First where do they get 97% and is the people that did the study as unbiased as the folks that falsified the climate data? Have you had the courage to actually look at data that doesn't agree with your world view? Second, do you actually think the majority of them have actually looked at the climate data? Or could it be they are trusting what has been shown to be falsified data? Third What percentage do they think is man made as opposed to what is natural? You do know that Maine was buried under over a mile of ice. When did it actually stop receding? It hasn't. Forth, one (or more) of your scientist (Science CZAR Holdren for one) claimed in the 70's we were going to have an ice age. Look it up. Do you know how many people believed Newtons theory of gravity for hundreds of years despite the fact that it did not explain the precession of Mercury's orbit? Your Scientist scientist were looking for a tenth planet. Relativity replaced Newton's theory. How long did they believe the heavens revolved around the earth. Yes he have global warming. If we get the corrupt politicians out of it we can study to see if man is playing a significant role. Your "Altruistic" politicians are going to make a lot of money out of this Cap and trade scam. You might want to look into that and see if it is actually a possible reason why they want to make your energy rates sky rocket. Obama actually said that. Look it up.

Don't know who says that 97% of the climatologists all agree that man is responsible for Global Warming but that number is a lie. I challenge all of you Anthropogenic Global Warming Believers to check these sites out and actually read and study what has been transpiring right under your noses. If you dare to take your fingers out of your ears and take your blindfolds  off, the truth will be revealed to you. Yes they really are that ignorant by the way. Clearly. They actually think man made global warming is a conspiracy by the government to control what they do, when in reality the thought that man made global warming is a conspiracy is the result of group think. Their fervent belief that it is a conspiracy benefits the large corporations who want to continue to pollute unchecked.

Edit: I mean look at their answers, do you see? It's disturbing how ignorant people are about this. It's really very simple, man is causing global warming because with the advent of the Industrial Revolution we have been spewing more toxins into the air then at any point in our Earths history. So I don't care that you say the Earth has been here a million years, I say no freaking kidding, but it hasn't been here a million years with toxins pouring into the air that whole time.

Why would you believe anything CNN says?

I have a few questions for these climate scientists that I have never heard answered.

1. What caused the Medieval Warm Period?

2. What caused the Little Ice Age? (That is the period right before "Global Warming")

3. What is the normal temperature of the Earth?

So let me get this straight, if these scientist who are paid to research global warming find that man is not responsible will they still have a job? Hmmmmm?

Kinda reminds me of poverty pimps like Sharpton and Jackson claiming racism is worse than ever but they are the ones bringing it up all the time... if racism went away would they have a job anymore. YOU are too easily "bamboozled" by those who wish to profit over fear and hysteria..

you are if you believe man is causing warming on this planet. man is responsible for one part per million of so called green house gasses. climatology did not even exist 30 years ago,so none of there so called theories have been tested over time.since we now know the sun gets hotter and cooler year to year that has the biggest impact on our temps. the planet heated and cooled many times without any influence of man,and we know the planet has been on a warming trend since last ice age,yet any proof of man causing any temperature rise you say yes it is man causing it.

There is no man-made global warming. The average temperatures of the earth have moderated over the past ten years. Facts are way more important than statistics.

If Climate Scientists all concluded there was no such thing as climate change, we would no longer need Climate Scientists.

They would be sending themselves straight to the unemployment line.

We now have an entire industry of climate science, green scam artists, corporations out for a piece of the action, and others who's livelihoods depend on keeping the myth alive.
