HI; Yes it was felt in Brant County. Lasted about 20 seconds. Kathy Richards, Owner/Operator Brooks' House Antiques Brantford Ontario

  • Omigosh, wasn't that freaky?! I was at home after my exams watching the FIFA and I felt the couch moving but I thought I was going crazy. Like here? Toronto? Its not supposed to happen here! Apparently it was a 5.5. But wasn't there another tremor in 2001/2002 or something? I don't know, I was 6 that year so I don't remember...

No I did not feel it. I think I was in the car heading for the mall or on my way into the mall when it happened. I didn't feel the earthquake we had a few years earlier either. They say it's expected to happen every few years so maybe I will feel the next one. I didn't see anyone acting differently than usual or talk about it either while I was out.
