would you consider this as a racist headline in the press?

Ya reap what ya sow...
The UK was so gung-ho trying to spread its colony and now it's pay-back for that! Should've left those people alone.

If The Daily Mail are quoting the ONS, I'd still check those stats for myself, cross referencing those immigrants who've left the country in the same time period. The Daily Mail are not beyond stating one fact and hiding others.
It's curious, however, that immigrants are still black in The Daily Mail's photographs. I suppose that a photo of a white person from any one of the countries within the European Union might prove too confusing for its regular readers.

Not if it's true! I mean if the population increases because of a lot of immigrants coming over, than I guess it's true, it's an objective fact. Nothing racist, there are somethings that are true, and don't make it racist.

...Or maybe immigrants are the REASON for the UK's population explosion, as they have clearly stated in the article's headline.
Don't try to call out racism where there so obviously isn't any.

No, there isn't any particular race discriminated against. Its just talking about immigrants, which aren't a race. It might show xenophobia, but not racism.

No it seem like an action grabbing fact that's purpose is to get people to buy and read that paper/article.

As they did not mention any race then no. Immigrants are having more babies. No racism just a fact.

nope, it was a clear statement of fact.
