Do you remember where you were when you heard the news that MJ died?

Time goes by really fast doesn't it? I was inthe car also with my husband and heard on the radio at the very exact same time my brother was calling my phone to tell me. R.I.P.---MJ

I remember completely.

I just got back from the last day of school, I went to my room, my mom came upstairs & told me Michael Jackson died. I was like "I don't care!" Because I use to not like him & I thought it was fake. So I went into the kitchen & my dad was watching it on the news & he told me that he really did die & it's not fake. I also remember my best friend coming over that day for a sleepover and as soon as we got inside I was like "guess who died today"? she was like "I don't know" & I was like "Michael Jackson". Then she's like "nooo" so I showed her the news and she was like "oh my God.."

My best friend & I were actually talking about this when she came over today.

I wish I was a fan before he died.. The reason why I wasn't a fan before is because I really didn't know him.. I just heard of him a couple of times & I knew he sang Bad & Beat It but that's it..

But if I did know more about him before, I would of been a huge fan like I am now. I remember watching his funeral with my cousin & her parents & we were all crying..

Around the time of his death I had moved from my previous home and at my new home I had no internet, no television.

I believe I was the only human on the planet that had not known about his death, the day it happened.

A few days later, my cousin called my father and told him the news in which he told to me, shortly after.

The most shocking news I'd ever heard.

then the next time I walked pass the computer and saw my mother on his myspace page

then I thought , something isn't right

then there it was on the television

I was on a summer service trip in South Carolina. We were going back to the house after getting some fresh shrimp from some roadside stand, and one of the girls in the back was texting and yells "MICHAEL JACKSON DIED!" So we had our teacher call her celeb-gossip-savy friend to confirm that MJ was actually dead. The next morning half the stations on TV were about him, the music in all the stores and restaurants were his music, and while at the camp, someone living in a house across the marsh was blasting MJ music.

properly MJ died at 2:26 and because i stay in lengthy island it replaced into 5:26 . And what i undergo in concepts replaced into it being what 5:00 and heard MJ replaced into contained in the well being facility and that i replaced into like no massive deal he should be out quickly. So i replaced into eating my dinner all satisfied and that i went upstairs in my room on the computer blah blah blah. And it replaced into 5:26 and that i have been given this extraordinary feeling. And at 5:27 on the dot my grandfather walked in my room and reported "hes lengthy gone" and that i reported "who" then he replaced into like "Michael". All of a Sutton I burst into tears. Then after i ended crying i went into my grandparents room and pronounced MJ's lack of life and they instructed me that women folk human beings Farrah Fawcett died beforehand that day. and that i replaced into like woah. i never observed none of her videos or heard about her. the first time I heard some thing about her replaced into in ought to and that i did not extremely care you recognize. yet her lack of life replaced into kinda unhappy yet i nonetheless do not care as a lot as i do about MJ's. So at the same time as my mom got here domicile we were talking and she or he reported how she heard about farrah Fwacets lack of life at lunchtime and replaced into like ok. yet at the same time as she replaced into coming domicile from paintings at 5:30 all she heard replaced into Michael jackson songs and at the same time as she realized they kept playing his songs she realized he had died. so as that day replaced into an extremely unhappy brilliant day which i will always remember about.

Laying by the pool, listening to Thriller (how ironic). And when I went inside, I turned on E! News and saw: BREAKING NEWS MICHAEL JACKSON DEAD. I didn't believe it, so I got on the internet and every single website I went on was talking about it. I was so shocked. Then I remember getting on iTunes and all his songs and albums were in the top 10, and the radio stations wouldn't stop playing his music.

I actually didn't find out until 2 weeks afterwards. I went to Ireland for 3 weeks, and well, let's just say they didn't have good technology. But when I got back to the States, I couldn't believe it...

it's the same day I graduated from the ninth grade. I'm pretty sure my friend cursed him that night. It was the night of our actual grad dance (like prom for junior high) and she slept over at my house, and she was on the phone, didnt see me sneaking up beside her in the dark. And she yelled at me, saying that I looked like MJ. The next day, at the ceremony, he was dead. :/
