17 week male Maturity?

I have a 17 week male...my female just went into heat 2 months early ( had appt. next week for spay) is there a chance he is mature enough to make puppies?? If you have a rude answer please don't reply...Thanks...

they are brother and sister from seperate litters..

    I would keep them separate just in case. You know what they say about doing what comes naturally.

    Most will reach sexual maturity at around 5 months, but some can show that behavior early. I would keep them apart. She's getting spayed soon enough anyway. Even if he does mount her they will still do the procedure.

    The average male dog is producing sperm by the time they are 5 months old, and some earlier, so.......Yeah, I would keep them separated just in case!

    yes, he could produce sperm and sire a litter
