    If they are large enough they can cause Tsunami's that can wrek havoc on coastal areas. Smaller ones just will make a big splash.

    according to science, when a huge meteor falls on the sea it can cause an

    earthquake which causes a tsunami but that would take a long time because some get

    melted by the sun. one was struck on earth's surface

    If it is big it will cause waves to rise to incredible hight more than 1000ft and tsunamis will rise also ocean water will be splashed
