    Lights on during the night (so I can actually see)

    Lights off during the day (why waste the energy?)

    I prefer dim lighting most of the time because my eyes are extremely light sensitive. I use 40 watt bulbs and see much better than if I used a 100 watt bulb.

    Lights on but only a little because I'm watching a movie right now. :)
