can a toy poodle and siberian husky get along?
I have a female toy poodle who's going to be a year old next month and i'm thinking about getting a siberian husky puppy, my poodle gets along with my aunts chihuahua but being the husky is so big will it hurt the my poodle when they play or at all.

You will have to watch the husky closely.
Generally speaking, they have a pretty high prey drive and you ought to be careful with any animal that is smaller than it. BUT starting out with a puppy might enable you to teach the husky that the smaller dog isn't prey.
I had a husky-mix who I was eventually able to get to behave with cats -- but even after I was reasonably comfortable, I still had a baby gate that was at a level the husky couldn't get over/under but the cats could so they had a "safe haven" room away from the dog. While I was able to acclimate her to cats in the house, any animal outside was a totally different story -- she had killed a bat, a crow and a squirrel at different times and she'd go bananas when she saw little dogs (I was able to make sure she never got near a small dog).

It doesn't matter what breed, all dogs can get along as long as their owners properly socialize and train them. If you are getting your husky as a puppy (make sure to get him/her from a shelter!) then he/she will be about the size of your poodle, so the poodle won't be very scared. The dogs will get used to each other by the time the husky is large enough to hurt the poodle. I'd just keep an eye on the dogs, some dogs display alpha pack leader behavior.

As a poodle breeder i would say its possible yes. you know your husky dog. Would you trust it? Poodles are very loving & caring dogs that strive to please. whatever you do thought i cannot express enough that you must NOT separate them from day one or they will grow to resent each other & you will then have serious problems. What is your dog like with small dogs? It all boils down to whether you trust your dog enough to bring a small dog into his/her environment. Ask the breeder if you could take your husky with you to go & see this puppy & see how they react together.
Good luck

before you buy your husky ask the people there if you can let your dog in to play with her/him just to make sure to give them time busase they may look fine but in a few minns that will start to wrestle for your affection if they do cheack out a new dog
and you can but any dog you want but all dogs will be more coforamble if they are the same breed but some dogs can get along and some can't so make sure that they do before you buy a new dog

No reason why not.
Be aware that your pup will soon grow and be a boisterous playful adolescent who could accidentally hurt your poodle so make sure you make the rules about rough play very clear to your pup from an early age.

Actually, the smaller dog is more likely to hurt the larger dog because sometimes people (not you I'm sure) let their smaller dogs act more aggressively toward larger dogs than vice versa. They will get along fine as long as you are a patient owner and introduce them properly. Also, try not to let one think that the other is getting more of your attention.
