Something may be up with the compressor, or condensor, or even the evaporator. You may have possibly overcharged the system, I would just take it in, and have a professional look at it.

First, it is not FREON. That is a brand name that was a dichloroflouramethane based gas. You are using R134 which is a tetrafluoroethane based gas.

The gas is leaking out as fast as you put it in! It may be leaking from your re-charge apparatus, or possibly (since it wasn't working anyway) the compressor. You need to have the system leak tested.

You cant just add freon, it has to be the correct amount, if you had some in and put two cans in it it is overcharged and will shut off because of to much pressure..need to remove some and check the pressures, it should be 28-35 PSI on the low side and 150-250 PSI on the high side..

"R134 Refrigerant (Freon)" is really "High Pressure" and you really should get it done at a Good A/C Shop. 2 Cans is a Lot, it sounds like you "Overcharged" the System that is why the Compressor keep shouting down.

Be glad it's turning off because if it kept running you would have trashed your compressor.

You overcharged it and the high pressure cut-off is working fine to protect you from yourself.

Take it to a certified AC technician and hope.

If the compressor isn't staying on as long as it should, you may have an electrical issue on your hands. It's also a good idea to check the fuse box, as unlikely as that place may be for the problem's source.

you might have a serious leak or a defective safety switch[ no pressure compressor doesnt work]also sounds like you put in to much refrigerant

could be moisture in system so could need degas drying and recharge. water in the system makes ice that stops the flow of gas,no flo no cold ice melts works again
