Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 S?
Tomorrow I'm going to Target or BestBuy, and when I'm there I'm going to buy either a Playstation 3 or the new Xbox 360 S.
I need your guys' help, I don't care about BluRay, hardware issues, or having to pay for Live, so which one and why? They say PS3 has better exclusives, but 360 has better Online and better looking cross-platform games.
I just want to buy one, play it, and know I made the right decision.
I've been reading about both, and it's given me a headache, and I think my headache even has a headache...

I remember a few years back when i was in your spot and didn't know which to choose. The main thing that affected my choice was price and i ended up buying the 360. Now i regret that choice, i HATE having to pay to play online and the PS3 gets more space on its HDD. But since you don't care about either of those two, allow me to remind you of the two new upgrades coming soon to the 360 and PS3.
PS3 get Motion controllers (much like the Wii motion controllers i think) and the 360 gets Kinect, some sort of camera device which doesn't require any controllers to play (really hard to explain, best to check it out on youtube or something). Personally, i would choose the Motion controllers over the Kinect because the games that have Kinect aren't really my type.
Speaking of games, if you purchase a 360 you CAN'T get Little Big Planet, Uncharted or Metal Gear Solid. I've probably forgotten some others. But if you purchase a PS3, you CAN'T get Halo, Gears of War or Ace Combat 6.
For graphics, I really don't think there's any difference between the two consoles.
Anyway, i'm afraid that's all i know. best of luck and i hope that you're happy with whatever console it is that you pick.

PS3 for sure. I've had both and found the PS3 more, what would you call it, -less breakable lets just say. The 360 is great too but have you heard of the red ring of death? A lot of 360's don't last as long. I've had my PS3 for more than a year already. Stick with the PS3 and you will surely have fun. Hope this helped.

If you are a fan of first- and third-person shooters, Xbox 360 offers a ton of great options. "Call of Duty 3," "F.E.A.R.," "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter," and "Prey" are all worth a look. But the cream of the crop is "Gears of War." It may not have the greatest story, but the online mode is addictive, the graphics are amazing, and the gameplay is innovative.
So, I strongly recommend you a xbox 360...believe me, is waay better than a PS3

Well it depends on the games you would want. If you want something like Left 4 Dead ( a zombie game) or Grand Theft Auto, go for Xbox 360. If you want something else (like that new Kingdom Hearts 3 coming out) then go for PS3. Sorry if i didn't help.

look man, all of these people aren't trying to help you, they just want to fight each other, if you really want to know see for yourself, look at different features, these guys dont really care they just vote for whatever console they have, if you want to socialize more, and your more into playing with friends, get the 360, if you are more of a hardcore gamer go with the ps3, but like i said, its your choice, i doubt you even found this answer though haha.
