everything stays on your credit report for 5 years. so like if you have something that is making it bad and you havnt done anything about it just leave it there cause after leaving it alone for 5 years it just gets smaller.(depending on what it is) also you should check your credit report every year, usually theres about 3 to 4 things your credit report that dont even belong to you. and its all because there are people with the same name and may have put it on the wrong persons or the ssns are very similar and there was a typo... you should check it. and if all failed join the air force. they will pay of all your loans. the air force is the branch that deploys the less. and have the best quality of life. if you have a bachelor degree talk to an officer recruiter and if not talk to an enlisted one. even if you dont want to join you should talk to them and see what they can offer. even 4 years can help everything. plus you will get under the sailors and (something) act. which means they help cut interest rates to help you, and improve your credit.
