mini a/v to usb cables do they make them?
I have an older hi8 digital cam coder and was trying to get on youtube with it do they make such a cable? thanks It would go from my mini jacks on camera to my usb port on computer,all I can do now is go to my tv or a vcr

You need to purchase a product such as Roxio VHS to DVD ($40USD) to port the signal from the output that would normally go to your TV/VCR, to your PC. It comes with the port adapter to change from analog to digital as well as a capture software.
If the signal is not strong enough to capture (common with Hi-8 and Mini-AV adapated-cameras) you may need to run the output through a VCR or DVD composite in and line-out to boost the video output. Use an RCA composite cable to port from the video/audio output on the VCR to the Roxio adapter to capture the boosted signal from the VCR. You don't need to record anything or do anything on the VCR other than have it on to boost the signal.
