Is the time right for Lancia to re-enter the U.S. market?

There must be all the automobile dealerships that need another brand to sell. They have quit making Saturns, Pontiacs, and now Mercury A showroom filled with Lancias and a few customers is better than nothing.

Not going to happen. Fiat, which owns Lancia and which now controls Chrysler, has dictated that the two brands will be platform-mates; if there's a Lancia that Fiat deems appropriate for the US market, it will likely be rebadged as a Chrysler.

They'll be re-badged and sold as Chryslers. Saw a Lancia Delta with the switch at car shows last year. I'll also guess they'll all be automatics too.(Haha)

They would need to build a car that passes US crash and emissions laws. For the amount that would cost they better sell more than a few.
