OHHHHHHH MY GOD.....my mom is a doctor. DO NOT PUT RUBBING ALCOHOL ON YOUR FACE. EVER. wow....ok. your acne is only partially caused by oil build up. Another part of it, as I'm sure you know if u've been to any type of dermatologist who knows anything at all....is that your skin is extremely sensitive and when it's irritated, acne is what u get. rubbing alcohol is isopropyl. aside from being an antiseptic its used as brake cleaner, it cleans electronic devises, people put it in their gas tanks t dilute water.... and it is way way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too strong for anyone to be using on their face, ESPECIALLY someone whose skin goes nuts when it's irritated. matter of fact some guitarists put rubbing alcohol on their fingers to harden their fingertips so it doesn't hurt when they strum metal strings. please don't put it on ur face. i promise u it will make it worse. just chill and use water and ur fingers and REEEEAAALLLLY mild soap to clean.

Wash face with a mild soap made for acne prone skin and rinse thoroughly. Pat dry then use a solution of Hydrogen peroxide diluted to 1/1 with water and rinse your face with this solution by using a cotton ball. Afterward, rinse with cool water and pat dry. Let skin air dry and then use a moisturizer that is made for acne prone skin. Hydrogen peroxide is a better disinfectant and anti-fungal agent than alcohol and alcohol has a tendency to really dry out your skin. Where you list your breakouts seems to be maybe an allergic reaction to the hair care products you use. Keep face clean and hair clean, and change your sheets and pillow cases at least once a week. You will find a marked reduction in breakouts. Drink plenty of water and the old saying "You are what you eat..." reduce junk food intake and greasy foods and eat 3-4 servings a day of fruits and vegetables. If you are under a lot of stress, try exercising or reading to calm down as these are all factors in acne breakouts. This is what I did and my son too and there it really does help.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots

NO NO NO NO NO
Way too harsh. It'll only cause more problems for you.
Go without the astringent until you get some more.
