memory upgrade worth it for an old computer?
I currently have the Toshiba Satellite A105-S101 laptop computer with Windows XP, 512mb memory and a 1.60 GHz cpu. I just want to know is it worth upgrading the memory to a 2048 mb? Will i see a major speed improvement.

Yes and no... you'll see a little improvement but really your processor is holding you back and that would be the best upgrade... however its a laptop and thats not easy to do so, depending on when you plan on upgrading laptops is what I would base the decision on... memory is cheap though so it will probably be worth it a little bit..

Memory is ur hard drive, ur taking about ram, another 512 & u will be fine, don't try to play games on it, laptops r not made for that.
