Jarryd Hayne threatens to leave Parra?

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/jarryd-...

He's being paid $500K per season based on 9-10 good games at the end of last year. Now those kicks that were bouncing at right angles into his arms are going out on the full. He was happy to take the money and the accolades when things were going well now he must accept the brickbats when they are not. The guy is a show pony and a sook. When the going gets tough Jarryd takes a walk. Thoughts..........

Update:

This is what Anderson said, ''He wasn't good tonight, in my opinion. Not many people will say it, He was off his game; [making] errors that weren't there. I think that he would've been frustrated by some … decisions that he made.'' Where did he blame Hayne for the loss? He is just telling it like it is and if Hayne can't handle these placid little comments he is in for a big shock when he finally gets into the real world.

    I think Hayne needs to harden TFU up - and quickly. It is all good to receive all the praise after Parra's stunning rise to the GF last year on the back of Hayne, but geez you have to take the good with the bad don't you? This man is being paid $500 000 per year (around $20 000 a game). Ask most Eels players - is he living up to the hype this year? I think not!!

    Sure he was ready to accept the praise from last year, from whatever corner it came. Now he can't accept criticism. Grow up Hayne! It's a good thing for players like him and other that their pay packet isn't tied to their performance, because based on his form this year he'd be down about $200K this year. I was thinking that he was just going through a second year slump, which is not uncommon in sports. Someone should get a hold of him and talk some sense. He doesn't know how good he has it a Parra. If he goes some where else, he will go as a marked man - someone who can't take it. I would hope he grows up because he has so much talent, but he also needs to know that with the talent comes responsibility.

    Right at the end his mentor Terry Hill said "How many games has Jarryd Hayne won for Parramatta? Would they have made the grand final last year without Jarryd Hayne?". So it's alright for a player to be singled out for a win, but not alright for a loss?!?!

    Hayne and the media have brought a name upon himself, one that he should live up too and he hasn't lived up to it. Of course the coach and fans will be upset... i mean he get's paid $2 million for 4 years of something after 10 good games then does nothing after that.

    Seriously Hayne, grow a pair you princess.

    Hayne = over rated.

    The coach has every right to say what he and the supporters and what the board think of him..to be paid money like that for some of the performances I've seen is most likely the reason Jarrad thinks so highly of himself...if Jarrad is upset by the coach saying these things maybe he should open his ears and get back on the track and put the hard yards in at training and in games...and prove to everyone he really is worth the money he's being paid.

    I think the words "star" or "great player"are overused these days...really after a few good games to start calling anyone a star is ridiculous...those terms should be left for later in someones career.

    If he wants to go, let him but remember that will now see Inu, Mateo AND Hayne leaving Parra. The question has to be asked, why? Who's next? Moimoi? Hayne may be over rated but there have to be problems at the club if all three go.

    Personally, I thought Hayne had a poor match last weekend but no coach goes to the press to name a player.

    Come on man! You out of people should know this is just a media blowout. The most recent statements made by Hayne, Anderson and Osborne indicates everything may not be as dreamy as they could be but Hayne is not walking and the pair have a stable relationship.

    Show pony or not, no coach should ever come out and single out a player for a poor game. Think back, you never heard these comments from Fulton, Sheens, Bennett, Murray, Gould, Bellamy etc. It's easy to see why Anderson has had so many problems with other clubs both in the NRL and the ESL.

    Typical Hayne. I'm gonna punch him in the ovary.

    Everyone bags the guy but when he pulls sh!t off, the media and league community put him on a pedestal which makes him look like this cocky player who thinks he's better than everyone else. How the coach can just single him out is beyond me, considering he scored their only try which was a solid one at that. I reckon the halves at parra need to direct the rest of the team.
