Are HTC Droid Smartphone apps as good/fun as iPhone apps?

If yes or no please explain why. I'm trying to decide which smartphone to buy. I've seen the commercial saying that Droid has apps too but I was skeptical if they were as good/fun as iPhone apps.

    If you're looking for a phone that has apps as fun as iPhone apps you should consider the Palm Pre Plus. There are some really great 3D games that just aren't available for Android. Sure, the App Catalog on webOS isn't yet as large as Android or iPhone but we've got some real quality apps. Some of my favorite apps are: Twee (twitter client), foursquare, Jump O'Clock (fun game! On sale for $.50 right now!) and... well, I could get carried away.
