Is an ibook new enough, modern enough for iPhone development?

I am wondering if an iBook will have the sufficient capability for iPhone application development. Are there any alterations I must make to it? What would those be?

    I don't know if it works with today's SDK or not.

    But still. You'd be better off with a Macbook. They're newer, Faster, And have an Intel processor.

    Not to mention that after Leopard Apple dropped support for PPC.
