They are clearly inherently bad (history proves this case), but that is not to say that they are incapable of good, or as bad as could possibly be. It is however to say that man is inclined to wrong things from his birth.

Man is inherently neither. He comes to this world a blank slate.
If he grows up in the jungle (assuming he survives the helplessness of infancy), he will thrive as an animal, as a top predator.
If he grows up within society, he takes after that society.

By nature humans are both good and bad and those values are variable depending on what your definition of good vs. bad is.
Some say Robin Hood was a vicious thief, others would say he was a saint who merely took by force what others kept by force to the suffering of others less fortunate.
It's good to feed those you are in charge of. It's good to store up goods for scarce times. It's not good to then horde food and let others starve even upon the argument that something might happen and if no more food can be found, you yourself as well, will starve for sharing.
We as humans have the ability to make rules accordingly that define what good and bad is.
We are not just good or bad, we are both. At times, what we thought was bad turns out to be good and vice versa. It would be fact that we are both good and bad, and that good and bad are conceptions of our mind.
If you want to argue that existence of "Good or Evil" that's another question, and you should post it because I can also answer that question relatively as well.
That being said, by nature we are both good and bad because we have the ability to decide what good and bad is and then judge between the two!

Most people are inherently good, but the world does have psychopaths who are void of normal human emotions.

We differ dramatically in our empathy towards other people not in our immediate group or family. We are all self-centerd and group-centered to an extent, but some people have more empathy than others. There is wide variation of empathy in people.

A little of both. Humans are pre-programed to fell empathy and compassion, but also can be tempted and forced to do bad things.

That is a good question. People are neither, they can be good or bad depending on the circumstances.

I think it depends on the person because some people who are raised in poor environments manage to be good and some people who are raised in excellent environments manage to be bad.

I have worked with the public for many years, and seen them at their worst. i have found that well over 90% are good.
