Yes, we picked fruit. Yes, we built houses. Yes, we worked in restaurants. Yes, we worked in hotels. Yes, we delivered newspapers. Yes, we drove trucks. Yes, we pruned our trees and mowed our lawns Yes, we raised our children.

Legal immigrants usually and the uneducated. Immigrants in general didn't speak English and uneducated couldn't get skilled jobs so they got stuck with poor paying jobs. A lot of the summer landscaping jobs and such where done by teens off for school.

just because the upper 1% can hire fifteen mexicans for the price of one american doesnt mean we dont want the job just means we want at least minimum wage to do it

Restaurant jobs were dominated by teenagers. That's why the teenage unemployment is WAY high.
