Question about getting a new phone. (Virgin Mobile)?
I want to get a new phone and I just wanted to know how long would it take to activate my new phone before i can use it. I am on a pay as you go plan.

With pay as you go phone and especially on Virgin Mobile it would take a couple of minutes and within 2 hours you can use your cell phone. All that you need to do is to purchase your phone from Best Buy or Target and then call customer service on Virgin Mobile and they will ask for the ESN number which is found on the inside of the phone behind the battery. Once they have that information the cell phone is active. Remember you will need to purchase refill cards to add money to your account.

If you get a new number it's quick. Since I was porting a number it took 7 days. Someone made a mistake, so this is not the norm. Use my Kick back code: DJOVPquQ (when you activate your phone) to get 60 fee minutes.
