my catcher right now is miguel montero from arizona.
i need walks and rbis in this rotissere league. im also about to add joel pinero. do you think i should pull the trigger?

I wouldn't
Miguel Montero, now that's he's healthy, is a really really good Catcher, so there's no real need for you to upgrade him.
If you need walks, wouldn't trading away the walk machine Chipper Jones hurt you?
Carlos pena has been terrible this season, and with the Rays in hot contention this year, you have to wonder if his playing time will be reduced if he doesn't pick his hitting up (which is possible, considering his age)
Though I would recommend shopping some of your pitchers around for some help. See if there's a Yankee fan in your league, and see how high you can sell Hughes.
Barton, Bautista, or Smoak can provide what you want for a much lower price.

I don't believe anybody would be stupid enough to trade with you. No body in their right mind would give up mauer and pena, espescially for your two god awful players.
