Help with Color Splash?!?

I am wanting to edit a picture to splash with color. And i want it to look really cool! What would be a good thing to 'splash' with color in my picture? Like clothes? An object?

Thanks in advance(:

Update:

It looks really awesome if you splash an accessory eg.. sunglasses, cool converse, or any bright random bit of jewellery. ♥

This question get's asked like 10 times a day ... I wish people would search instead of being so lazy.

Get Photoshop(buy) or theGimp(free). you can also use Photoshop Elements but you have to do it the hard way under Elements.

    1- Load your image.

    2- Duplicate your layer.

3- Turn your layer black and white (under Image>Adjustment>BW)

    4- Add a layer mask

the Layer Mask is the important bit here. It adds a box next to the box representing your current layer in the layers window. This box only accepts black, white and shades of gray. Anything in white appears and anything in black disappears. So let's say you are doing a portrait and want the lips to remain red, on your Mask, color over the lips in black. this will make the BW lips disappear, revealing the coloured lips underneath.

I think you get the drift ... in the future, please use the search bar first.

The best thing to splash? The most vivid thing that is red, green or blue.
